The dfi provides wide-ranging services for all public and private organisations, businesses and individuals working in a Franco-German context or interested in current developments in French politics, economics and society. We also provide expertise for French organisations and companies on current developments in Germany. In addition to the provision of information and analysis, the Institute holds seminars and training sessions for business and the public sector

The demand for specialised information and documentation has led to the continuous expansion of the institute’s special library.

On request, the dfi provides expert reports and studies on Franco-German relations and current social, political and economic developments in France and Germany

Lectures and moderation

The research staff regularly hold talks and lectures on France and Franco-German relations. On request, our experts can also be engaged to moderate discussions, colloquia and conferences

Training

For many years now, the dfi has been holding training sessions in intercultural communication. These seminars are geared towards staff and management from private companies and the public sector.

The dfi has decades of experience in organizing Franco-German conferences, seminars and other events to promote cooperation. We can assist with conception and planning of events and, where necessary, provide help finding cooperation partners and speakers
